About
Hey, I'm Casey. I started in music, but somewhere along the way I fell in love with math, building things with computers, and the feeling you get when something finally works.
I started as an intern at Microsoft in the summer of 2010 and have pretty much been there ever since. I wouldn't call myself a great software engineer, but I'm a persistent one. I like making stuff, playing with new tech, and sharing what I learn.
My interests wander: AI/ML, IoT, developer tools, and reinforcement learning. I've mentored junior engineers and led student RL projects, which is honestly some of the most rewarding work I've done.
This site is where I put the things I'm building and learning — through blog posts and short-form videos. No expertise required. Just curiosity.
